NOVA Controls is a tool that allows to download and to read the
NOVA scenes from the Internet with your favorite browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opéra, Google Chrome, Safari). This tool has to be maintained up to date to take profit of the evolution of
NOVA.
Before installing, make sure that you have administrative rights on your computer. If you do not have sufficient rights, please contact your local administrator.make sure you have the latest drivers for your devices properly installed and configured . Finally, make sure your PC is compliant with the minimal requirements (see
Configurations).
From a web page, in which a NOVA scene should be displayed, a sentence invites you to download the latest NOVA Controls intaller. Once this download done, close your browser ans launch the installer ("NOVA Controls.exe").
Step 1 : The welcome screen is displayed. Take the necessary time to read all the comments in order to install the software properly. then click on "Next".
Step2 : The NOVA Installer tests your PC and validate the prerequisites. Green icons are then displayed. The installation can go on. If a red icon is displayed, that means that one of the prerequisite is missing and the installation is aborted. It is recommended, but not mandatory to have a green icon near the DirectX 10 symbol.
You can cancel at any time the install process by pressing the "Cancel" button, or go to the previous screen by pressing the "previous" button.
Click on "Next".
Step3 : A new panel is displayed, comiling all the end-user bonds you have to accept in order to follow the installation. We highly recommend to read the complete text here prior to accept and click on "Next". If you do not agree to the end-user conditions, the installation stops.
Step 4 : The NOVA Installer has enough informations to copy the files to your hard-drive. Click on "Finish" to complete the installation.
Step 5 : If the installation is a success, a confirmation form is displayed. If not, please start once again all the installation process.
NOVA Controls should now be fully installed. Open you Internet browser, select the previously page . The 3D content should be correctly dysplayed (after the local download of the NOVA scene).
